Hi. I'm a designer in Melbourne, Australia, and I made Custom Song Generator on my own.

I made it for people who have lost someone: a parent, a partner, a friend, sometimes a dog or a cat who was family. When someone is gone, it's the small things we miss most. The way she said your name. His terrible jokes. The sunny spot by the window. I wanted to make a place where those small things can be gathered into a song, so that for three minutes, you can be together again.

I'm not a songwriter. The lyrics and the singing are made with AI, and every song says so. What I can do, as a designer, is build it with care. You read every line before you pay. You hear the chorus with their name first. Every name is checked, and if it's sung wrong, we record it again for free. If neither version gets it right, you get your money back.

The site makes songs for happier days too: birthdays, weddings, a new baby. But the memorial songs are the reason it exists.
