In the song, "I" is them, "you" is you (or someone you name, like Dad), and your name is sung in the chorus. It is written from your memories of them, as a tribute, not a message from them.

We keep your song page and the mp3 downloads for a year after the song is ready (if you make it a gift, from the day you say they'll get it), then we delete the song and your details.
